The National Wind and Solar Energy Storage and Transportation Demonstration Project is a major project supported by the National Science and Technology Support Program. In engineering operations, the panoramic intelligent monitoring system for wind solar energy storage combined power generation, large-scale energy storage monitoring system, and wind solar power prediction system jointly developed by State Grid and JOOZON Electric have been fully applied and achieved phased results. They have shown significant effects in overcoming the volatility, randomness, and intermittency of new energy generation such as wind and solar power, and reducing the impact of large-scale new energy integration on the power system. The design functionality of the system has been improved and enhanced, resulting in faster and more accurate predictions; The research on the optimal and most economical capacity ratio for the combined power generation of wind energy, solar energy, and energy storage has been thoroughly carried out item by item, and positive progress has been made.
The wind farms and photovoltaic power stations in the national wind and solar energy storage and transmission demonstration project have achieved remote power regulation. The power station has successfully completed two low-voltage transients caused by local power grid failures and successfully withstood the invasion of 10 level winds. It has now provided over 116 million kilowatt hours of electricity. The standard system for wind solar energy storage combined power generation includes commissioning outline, operating procedures, commissioning specifications, acceptance outline, and emergency accident handling and emergency plans, which have been preliminarily established and completed. As an important symbol showcasing the implementation of energy conservation and emission reduction by the country and State Grid Corporation of China, and vigorously promoting the development of green energy, the project has successfully passed the on-site audit of the United Nations Clean Development Mechanism.
